Keeping Warm with a Hugzzie

It is getting so cold now! I do love this time of year with all of it’s colours and season’s traditions. But I don’t like being cold. Does anyone? Apart from maybe Penguins and Polar Bears. Then again, they are biologically prepared to not actually feel the cold so hardly good examples… I’m digressing.

Evidently, my children are also averse to the cold weather, especially Teddy. Which is why I was delighted when we received this cute Hugzzie in the post for him to try!

Dexter the Dog

Dexter the Dog is very cute, very soft and very warm when his lavender scented (swoon!) wheat bag is placed into the microwave for a few seconds. It’s bum bag/belt type design, means you can secure the Hugzzie around your tot and velcro keeps it in place. For them, they feel like they are getting a warm hug from a little stuffed toy pal. For you, it means they go quiet for a little while from the comforting warmth and it also means that you shall nab it for yourself to cuddle of an evening once the house is sleeping and quiet.

Ingeniously, you can also pop the wheat bag in the fridge and keep cool in the summer. Or take the wheat bag out completely and your little one has a bum bag to carry their toys around in!

Health and Safety

Luckily, the packaging that Dexter came in has a detailed amount of guidelines to ensure health and safety is looked after whilst using this product. Complete heating instructions are included, as well as a clear method of how to keep him clean.

I must admit that I was a little bit nervous about heating up a wheat bag and stuffing it inside a cuddly toy for my child to hug! But he is well insulated (the Hugzzie… not my child) and the wheat bag is held very securely within it’s pouch.

We have been so impressed with this warm wonder! I even brought it with me in the buggy last week as an added insurance policy type thing when we went to see the fireworks. Super cute and so handy for keeping the little ones warm this winter!
